Liliana wrote this song in 1978 when Poland was still under the communist regime, and it was not until 2015 that she learned that this song had become popular in her country. The song was inspired by a poem about St. Francis of Assisi, his spirituality, love and connection with nature.

For about 30 years Liliana did not know that this song became popular in Poland and among Franciscan Brothers in neighboring countries as well. When she wrote it, Poland was under the communist regime, and she only played it for friends and during underground christian gatherings.
"I only taught a few people how to play this song. I was sure the song was forgotten. It was such a surprise when I learned that people know and love this song. There is even a dance to it!
This motivated me to record this song in its original version, and I was thrilled to have such great musicians like Ronnie McCoury - mandolin,  and members of his band (Jason Carter - Violin,
Alan Bartram - Upright Bass) record it with me."
                                                                                                                            —Liliana

The picture on the cover was taken by her son, Adrian, as the sun set over a field of wheat in a beautiful village of Koleczkowo, Poland.
