"A Dream", a song I wrote in 1986. As a young student, I came to America for two months, just to visit my friend and do my comparative study for my Master's Degree. I loved my family and my country, Poland, and I never wanted to live in America, but maybe fate had different plans for me.
As I was already anticipating my return to Poland, Martial Law had been enforced in my country. Borders were closed, no airplanes allowed, no letters, and no phone calls were possible. It seemed that my youth ended that day. These were one of the hardest times in my life. I ended up living in Los Angeles..."
