A collection of beautiful bedtime songs that instill positive messages, love and compassion. Music, and especially bedtime music, gives us a great opportunity to teach our children and to share what we want them to know, especially when they are young and impressionable. "Liliana, I bought these lullabies yesterday, and I find myself listening to them long after my children have fallen asleep.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! You say that they help children and mothers, but I am convinced they will help anyone that has trouble sleeping or is distressed about something. There is something HEALING in them. I felt something shifting in me. Please, don't let it be your last album. "

I created this album as a young mother of three boys. I wanted to sing for my children lullabies that were a little more meaningful than those available on the market then. I wanted to TEACH THEM and I wanted to SHARE my own thoughts and feelings. I wanted to sing lullabies that would create POSITIVE images in their minds, and POSITIVE feelings in their hearts. I wanted to sing songs that would teach CHARACTER and WISDOM, lullabies that would instill LOVE and COMPASSION. I believed that the time frame before they drift to sleep was the most valuable time to do so. I also knew that this time frame, in which we can truly affect our children, is SHORT. I didn't want to waste a minute of it. And thus these special to me and my children lullabies. I hope that you will benefit from them as much as we did.

As I mentioned above, I believe that the most effective time to teach our little children things like love, self-discipline, wisdom, and compassion is the time right before they drift to sleep, and when they are very young, from birth to 5 years old. As a parent you know that if a child is to ask you a deep question, most of the time it will be when they are getting ready to sleep; in other words, in the pre-Alpha or Alpha state of sleep (half asleep). During periods of relaxation, while still awake, our brain waves become slower, increase in amplitude and become more synchronous. These types of waves are called alpha waves. Such brain waves are often associated with peacefulness and the ability to think more clearly. Activities that promote alpha-wave activity appear to have positive health benefits— thus, the lullabies. I created them out of love for my own children, of course, but also out of frustration that I couldn't find any lullabies or soothing bedtime songs that reflected WHAT and HOW I wanted to share with them. I like fun and silly songs for children too, but not at night time, or during calm times. My children loved these songs and I strongly believed that these songs helped them shape their character, develop their imagination and creativity, and drift to sleep in a peaceful and happy state of mind. I have to admit that the picture I drew for the album artwork is true to my life... most of the time they asked me to sing again and again, and I found myself falling asleep in their bed. When they could sing, they kept singing or humming with me. And now I am happy to share some of my best, soothing lullabies with you, with other parents and children. Please, play them for your children, or sing along, or learn to play them on guitar or piano, and sing for your baby or your toddler. They will love it!
